You have to try to press record and stop with your toes if you play an instrument with 2 hands if you dont want a delay between loops

Well I regretted buying this at first cuz I had no clue how to use it and the help menu hardly helps at all and it doesnt help with many things. I had to figure A LOT out on my own. But I did. And its a REALLY good app! One problem though. Once you hit record, you have to start singing or playing your instrument IMMEDIATELY after hitting record. Otherwise therell be a delay in the loop. So the loop will play and then youll have those first two seconds of silence before the loop starts again. Its hard to explain! But even though Im not musically talented at all, I still get really addicted to this app. ALTHOUGH I think it would be amazing if you could save recording as a video to the camera roll. But oh well
This is a great app. Simple to use and tons of fun. Hopefully there will be an update for more sharing options, and maybe a way to remove accidental gaps in loops.
THE BEST LOOPER IN THE WORLD!
This app is great for laying down vocal tracks and keeping the flow and rhythm of that of a Gatling gun. The main function of this app is to record vocal tracks and transfer to a sequencer program. EDL integrates well with other music apps. It takes about 5 minutes to learn how to operate the functions (2 finger swipe, one finger tap, etc). This app allows you to layer your voice while recording or record over and erase what is already recorded if you arent happy with the track youve just laid down. The transfer quality between this app and the sequencer I use (studio. HD) is good with no apparent dropout of recording level as I have experienced with other apps. For the price, this is a good app for practice and perfection. If singing, rapping, or using your voice as an instrument is your thing, then this app is for you. Thanks.
Very addicting once you get the hang of it. Need to use headphones to make beats good.
Cant say enough about how great this little app is! Love how easy it is, how many great features there are and how fun it is. If you want a looper this is the one, dont waste your time on any other.
I have to say, this is fun as well as great to play around and experiment with. I usually go on my phone to play games, text, call, and use this app. One thing, however: it starts kinda confusing. The instructions are like hieroglyphics. Otherwise, great app.
Ive been using EDL for more than a year now, almost every day! Even though the new version came out over six months ago, I still forget how to get the heck out of pan mode, or how to prevent overdubbing a track i accidentally armed. The more weeks go by the more I wish for a few icons on the screen to help me out. Everyday looper gets two big thumbs up in terms of what it can do - despite it not being perfect. The only limit I felt previously was memory, and thats the devices fault, not the app. But then I got a new iThing, and that went away. Please consider adding a little more GUI. The swipe-but-not-too-much-hold--then-second-finger-tap gesture i fail at on a daily basis. Daily. Everyday failure.
This app is amazing. I love the functionality. What I cant wait for is a few simple effects like reverb, bass boost, etc. also, the save/load/tools/options user interface could use an overhaul. But the functionality of this app is wonderful.
I was wondering if I should buy this app, or Loopy, but in the end I bought both. This app is fantastic, and in my mind, beats Loopy without a doubt. This app has great features, and just about everything you need to make a cool song, and give an even better live performance! Audio us integration would be nice, but I dont really feel its a deal breaker!
If youre creative, this thing is limitless. Really helped me with my beatboxing and freestyles. Too much fun
Shake to undo
Its really hard to use and it limits the time you can record so annoying
Really smooth. A little difficult to learn at first, but then so are all good things. A must have if you like to beatbox, rap, or just make weird noises with your mouth hole.
Worth every penny. Youll get addicted to this. A must buy for any one who saw Pitch Perfect and thought "I could do that"
This app does everything it says it will. I would appreciate an option to play audio through a Bluetooth speaker however. If this could be implemented I would appreciate it!
I was inspired to buys and use this app after seeing Reggie Watts use it live. There is one feature I wish the app had, I have the same app on two different devises. An ipad and an iPhone. I wish could sync the devices and add the tracks together. I know the technology exists. Adhoc connection? Say what? But for real check out Reggie Watts!!
Great to throw down ideas to work on later. Also can cut and paste tracks, which was nice
This is an Awesome Looper app. The Metronome generator creates a perfect click track guide that you can play to. This is a million times better than basically every other app that just plays a metronome sound in the background. First of all, it gives you the confidence knowing that you are hearing a perfectly quantized metronome as apposed to some digitally generated click track that could possibly hickup or be sloppy. Secondly, the perfectly quantized transients of the click track give you a visual reference with which to compare the transients of your played in loops to. So, you can visualize which notes you play a little ahead of the beat or slightly behind the beat etc. (and youll learn how this affects the feel of the song) Being able to see the horizontal waveforms of all your loops stacked on top of each other really allows you to visually see how the transients in one of your loops relates to the transients in the other loops. Such a great deal for such a beautifully designed app.
